I started doing yoga for several reasons, the least bimbotic but honest answer is I was suffering from regular back pain. Beside the usual neck, shoulder and upper back pain from spending long hours in front of a laptop, I was diagnosed with slipped disc in my lower back at the age of 14.

From time to time, I get intense back pain attack from tensed muscles or inflamed nerves. There were days I just simply couldn’t get out of bed. I had a really bad relaI guess that was one of the wake up call for me to do something about my condition so I tried using yoga to build my core and back muscle. Since then, I haven’t had such intense relapse.
