I took a fun “Yoga Virgins” class on day 32. In some ways, it was easier than what my bad @ss yoginis throw at me, but in other ways, it was more challenging because it was a lot of seated poses I’m not doing on a regular basis.
And it was great because I loooovvveee Cat pose.
No, the one where you move from table into a rounded back, lifted belly, and extended neck.
And while I like to flow between cat and cow to warm up, holding cat is a really great counter-balance to the heart openers and backbends later in a practice.
But most of all, because this pose is like what my baby kittens do when they want scratches and leads to hilarious cat yoga pictures.
