Yoga Day Fifty-Seven: Revolved Warrior (Take 1)

I love all things warrior.  Even Warrior III on my left leg (poor balance).  Revolved warrior can be delicious and elegant or it can be awkward and balance challenging, depending on the width of my stance and the openness of my shoulders and chest.

(I know she’s pregnant, but this kind of shoulder and chest lock can happen to the best of us).

More chest, less backbend

The amazing Christina Sell, showing the shoulders and chest without arms

And here, almost stacking the shoulders, opening up the chest, and giving it a dancer’s grace.

Amazing how all of the warriors have graceful moments of dance in the midst of the power.  I think this pose and I have some investigating and playing to do.
